Done But Not Published: The Dissertation Journeys of Roy J. Lewicki and J. Keith Murnighan

 

Discussions at the 28th Annual IACM Conference at Clearwater Beach, Florida, United States, served as the inspiration for this essay (June 28 to July 1, 2015). To help plan the 2015 IACM Conference, Shirli Kopelman, IACM's executive director and president-elect, Anne Lytle, the organization's Dissertation Writing Service president and conference host, and Cynthia Wang, the conference's programme chair, invited Roy Lewicki, Keith Murnighan, and Max Bazerman to share their perspectives on the ups and downs of academic publishing. During the months of July and August of 2015, these excellent discussions persisted while we worked with Deborah Cai, NCMR Editor, to shape them into an article.
